Orbital Critical Systems, part of the CAF Group, develops safety-critical software for the aerospace, defence, and transport sectors. The company is hiring C++ Engineers for on-site roles in Germany to support strategic Airbus projects.

Work locations mentioned for this opportunity include Bavaria and the Hamburg region.

What you will do

• Build and enhance simulation and test-support software using C++.
• Develop and improve the framework design, especially around middleware and real-time systems.
• Work with modern engineering methods and up-to-date technologies.
• Contribute to virtual engineering activities that combine simulation environments with real hardware.

What the employer is seeking

• A degree in Computer Science or another relevant discipline.
• Practical, hands-on experience with C++.
• Strong English skills at C1 level, which is required.
• German at C1 level is considered an advantage.
• Applicants must be citizens of a European country.

Compensation and support

The role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of €57,000 to €65,000.

Additional support includes help with accommodation search, German language training, full relocation assistance, and administrative support. The company also takes care of the German tax return process for the first year.

This is a permanent German contract tied to long-term projects.
