Baker and Packager Associate

Position summary

This role supports the bakery by preparing fresh baked goods each day for members. The work includes following recipes, packaging products, applying labels, and storing items correctly so members can take home the freshest possible items. The position can involve handling multiple tasks within a short timeframe while helping members with bakery orders. It is a demanding job, but it is also rewarding because you will be part of a team focused on member satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members warmly, maintain a positive attitude, and thank them for their business.
• Answer member questions and provide helpful service across the club as needed.
• Keep the bakery area clean, organized, and ready for members.
• Work with other associates to support a strong bakery team and adapt to business needs.
• Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production requirements by using baking equipment and following recipes and make-up instructions.
• Wrap, label, and store products in line with company policies and procedures.
• Follow food safety rules, sanitation requirements, cold chain standards, and inventory controls.
• Use, maintain, and sanitize equipment properly.
• Use handheld and other digital tools to support production, ordering, training, sales decisions, and product quality.
• Maintain operational standards, reduce waste, protect delicate and high-shrink items, and help members make purchasing decisions.
• Pack, label, and store merchandise accurately and in line with company standards.
• Represent the department and club positively by delivering consistently high-quality service and products.
• Follow company ethics, integrity standards, and Open Door Policy practices.
• Complete assigned work by using policies, data, resources, and collaboration with managers, coworkers, members, and business partners.

Benefits and compensation

The pay range for this role is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour. In some situations, extra hourly premium pay may be available from $0.35 to $3.00 depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
