Automation Tester

About the role

This position is for an Automation Test Engineer who will help improve the quality, stability, and reliability of software products. You will work with cross-functional teams in a collaborative setup, contributing to smooth integration, functional accuracy, and overall product excellence. The role offers the chance to strengthen testing practices while growing in a supportive and fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and run automated test scripts with Selenium to verify software quality.
• Partner with development teams to understand testing needs and prepare detailed test plans.
• Review test outcomes, log defects, and coordinate with developers to support fixes.
• Keep refining test frameworks and automation processes to improve speed and effectiveness.
• Take part in code reviews and share feedback that supports better testability and higher quality standards.

Qualifications

The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in B.Tech, BCA, B.E., or B.Sc. along with practical experience in QA automation, especially Selenium-based testing. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and clear communication are important for success in this position.

Preferred experience

Additional value is given to candidates with hands-on experience in Java Selenium, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, a history of improving testing methods, comfort working in Agile teams, and exposure to performance or load testing.

Eligibility

Applicants with a B.Sc. in any specialization or a B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization are eligible to apply.
