Role Overview
Adani Power is looking for an Assistant Manager in Mechanical Maintenance to support reliable plant operations at its Assam location. The role focuses on keeping critical boiler, turbine, and auxiliary systems in dependable working condition through planned maintenance, defect resolution, and disciplined documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for boiler pressure parts, valves, APH, FGD systems, piping, supports, and related equipment.
- Improve equipment uptime and dependability by adhering to maintenance plans and standardized maintenance procedures.
- Oversee turbine-side maintenance work covering the main turbine, condensate extraction pumps, vacuum pumps, safety valves, BFP cartridges, and supporting auxiliaries.
- Prepare for and close shutdown-related defects, while ensuring annual overhauls and capital overhauls are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Keep equipment history, maintenance logs, SMP documentation, and audit records accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in mechanical maintenance projects.
