Talent Acquisition Associate (USA-Based Recruitment) Internship

About the internship

This internship is designed for a motivated fresher who wants to develop practical experience in the U.S. recruitment space. You’ll work directly with the founders and gain mentorship, real hiring exposure, and learning opportunities in a fast-moving startup environment.

Working style and schedule

• The role is fully remote and offers flexible working arrangements.
• You should be available for at least 30 hours per week, with roughly 4 hours of work per day on average.
• Some overlap with New York (EST) hours is required for meetings and discussions.
• Day-to-day timing is flexible, except for scheduled team calls and status meetings.
• Weekday meetings may run for up to 1 hour when needed, and weekend check-ins may occasionally last 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Key responsibilities

• Study job descriptions and break down requirements for both technical and non-technical roles.
• Search for and shortlist suitable candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and other hiring platforms.
• Assess candidates based on experience, skills, and job fit.
• Work according to sourcing methods, search filters, and feedback shared by the recruitment team.
• Keep candidate records updated and monitor recruitment progress.
• Help schedule interviews and stay in touch with candidates during the hiring cycle.
• Join regular progress meetings and share updates on sourcing activity.
• Work with the team to improve sourcing methods and recruitment workflows.
• Handle assigned hiring tasks independently and complete them on time.
