About the internship

This remote, flexible internship is designed for native Hindi speakers who can help with a language data collection initiative. You will receive reading content and record natural-sounding Hindi voice samples based on it. The role suits students, freelancers, creators, voice-over aspirants, and working professionals who want part-time remote work.

What you will do

• Record Hindi audio using the provided text materials.
• Produce speech that is clear, smooth, and simple to understand.
• Adhere to the project’s guidance on sound quality and speaking style.
• Check your submissions and revise them when corrections are needed.
• Share recordings on time while keeping project data private.
• Work from a quiet place and use a suitable recording device.
• Stay in touch with the project team for any recording-related questions.

Who can apply

Applicants must be able to work from home, be available to start between 20th Jun'26 and 25th Jul'26, and commit for 4 weeks. Candidates should have relevant skills and interest. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also welcome to apply.

Eligibility and language requirements

• Applicants may apply for one or more languages, but the current role is for Hindi.
• Native-level or fluent Hindi ability is required.
• Strong reading and speaking ability is expected.
• You should have clear pronunciation and diction.
• Accuracy in following instructions is important.
• A smartphone or laptop with a decent microphone is needed.
• Recording must be done in a quiet environment with minimal background noise.
• Preference may be given to people with experience in theatre, drama, acting, voice-over, anchoring, public speaking, content creation, podcasting, or performing arts.
• You should be able to deliver speech naturally and engagingly.
• Control over tone, speed, and pronunciation is important.
• You may need to adapt your speaking style as required.
• Attention to detail, consistency, reliability, and on-time delivery are essential.

Compensation and duration

The stipend offered is INR 1,000 to INR 5,000 per month. The internship runs for 1 month and begins immediately. The deadline to apply is 22 July 2026, 11:59:59 PM.
