Role Overview
The company is hiring two motivated Upwork Bidders to join the Sales department in Islamabad. This is an onsite role with working hours from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am at Plot # 176, Korang Road, near Rahat Bakers, I-10/3, Islamabad.
The ideal candidate will have 1.5 to 2 years of experience in the service industry, especially working with freelance marketplaces such as Upwork, Freelancer.com, and PeoplePerHour. Strong writing ability is essential for success in this position.
Education & Professional Qualification
- A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized local or international university is preferred.
- Relevant certification is not required, but it will be considered an added advantage.
Experience
- 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience in freelancing projects and business generation through online platforms.
- Hands-on experience with freelance platforms and account handling is required.
Responsibilities
- Use knowledge of freelance marketplaces to support sales growth and broaden the client base.
- Write persuasive, customized bids that address each client’s needs.
- Review client briefs and suggest suitable bidding approaches.
- Find new leads and business opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Work toward and surpass sales targets through strong pitching and negotiation.
- Handle communication between the company and clients.
- Track client interactions and ensure timely follow-up and reporting.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 to 2 years of proven sales experience in the service industry on Upwork or similar platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Good understanding of effective marketing methods.
- Ability to draft convincing proposals and engage clients successfully.
- B2B sales and email marketing experience will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred.
- Strong client engagement and retention skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and contribute in a team setting.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a clear focus on achieving sales results.
