Depending on the team, you may support product engineering, customer-facing technical work, or internal business operations, producing documentation that supports product quality and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities
- Develop, update, and continuously refine strong technical documentation for software products, internal platforms, or business processes, depending on team assignment.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the documentation matches actual system behavior and user needs.
- Convert complex technical ideas into content that is easy to follow, well structured, and suitable for different audiences.
- Help define and improve documentation standards, writing guidelines, and team-wide best practices.
- Engage with users and communities to understand how documentation is used in practice and where it can be improved.
- Encourage engineers and other cross-functional colleagues to contribute to documentation efforts.
- Take part in evolving documentation methods, including structured approaches such as Diátaxis.
- Support the broader recognition of documentation as an essential discipline in both product development and organizational communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical writing, software documentation, or another engineering-adjacent role that demands clear and effective communication.
- A background in software development or strong working knowledge of engineering tools, workflows, and environments.
- Ability to understand technical systems and explain them with structured, analytical thinking.
- Excellent writing skills with a strong eye for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Experience working with engineering, product, or open-source communities.
- Comfort with tools and environments such as Linux, Git, command-line workflows, or documentation systems like Sphinx and reStructuredText.
- A strong interest in technology and a willingness to explore new domains and systems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in distributed, fast-moving settings.
