Retail Operations Manager

Role overview

This part-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi is focused on improving retail store performance for client businesses. The role is responsible for keeping day-to-day store activities running smoothly, making sure operating standards are followed consistently, and tracking inventory, staffing, and merchandising results.

What you will do

• Oversee routine store operations and help maintain consistent execution across locations.
• Work with store leaders to strengthen customer service, simplify workflows, and put operational policies into practice.
• Review performance information from stores, spot problem areas, and support practical improvement plans.
• Guide retail teams through coaching, coordination, and ongoing support.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve efficiency and support business goals.
• Help deliver a seamless customer experience that aligns with client expectations and profitability targets.

Qualifications and experience

• Strong background in retail operations and store management is needed to supervise daily activity and improve results across multiple locations.
• Solid operations management and analytical ability are important for understanding data, refining processes, and producing measurable outcomes.
• Excellent customer service capability is required to handle escalations and keep the in-store experience at a high standard.
• Leadership and team coordination skills are necessary to support store teams, enforce policies, and assist with training and development.
• Experience in multi-store or multi-brand environments is preferred, along with exposure to inventory control, merchandising, and basic P&L concepts.
• Clear communication and the ability to work on-site with varied stakeholders are essential; familiarity with the UAE retail market is an added advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a similar field, or equivalent hands-on experience in retail operations leadership, is expected.
