Role overview
The Relationship Manager Assistant will support the Private Banking Advisory Team in Singapore, helping maintain a consistently high level of client service. The position involves close coordination with both internal teams and external clients, along with handling a variety of operational and advisory support tasks. Responsibilities may also expand as needed based on business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the client onboarding workflow, including preparing, completing, and submitting account-opening documentation to the relevant internal and external parties.
- Coordinate answers to onboarding-related questions from both internal teams and outside counterparts.
- Manage the client instruction process for trade execution and placement requests in an organized and timely way.
- Handle internal client queries by arranging responses and communicating updates where needed.
- Support day-to-day internal communications.
- Assist with client setup and handholding whenever required.
- Act as the main point of contact for the relationship manager’s clients.
- Manage external client queries by coordinating responses and relaying information as needed.
- Support routine communication with external stakeholders.
- Receive client calls on behalf of advisors when necessary.
- Help advisors complete periodic due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and client review responses for internal and external KYC requirements.
- Support client advisors in meeting the requirements of the Investment Advisory Process, including client classification and suitability checks.
- Maintain a working understanding of applicable regulations, including anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and sanctions rules, conduct of business requirements, client classification and suitability, and market knowledge.
- Take on additional business-related initiatives and tasks as assigned from time to time.
Additional information
This role is tied to the Private Banking Advisory Team and requires regular interaction with both internal departments and external clients. The scope of duties can be expanded based on operational needs.
