Role overview
This opportunity is for a partner company that will handle applications and the rest of the selection process. The role is based in Ireland and focuses on supporting the operational engine behind a growing investment platform. The main emphasis is on portfolio reporting, data stewardship, and dealflow coordination.
You will help ensure that portfolio and transaction information is accurate, well-organized, and easy to access so investment decisions can be made on reliable data. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with regular interaction across investment teams, portfolio companies, and outside stakeholders. The position suits someone who is highly detail-focused, comfortable creating structure, and able to juggle several priorities while improving processes and supporting portfolio growth and transaction execution.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of collecting, checking, reconciling, and updating portfolio company financial and operating data in CRM and reporting systems.
- Deliver accurate and timely portfolio reporting by consolidating periodic updates, spotting inconsistencies, and working with the right stakeholders to fix issues.
- Build and upkeep internal reports, dashboards, and tracking tools used by investment teams and senior leaders.
- Act as an operational contact for portfolio companies by coordinating surveys, sharing resources, handling communications, and flagging repeat support themes.
- Record incoming investment opportunities, organize them by category, monitor them, and route them through the correct review process.
- Keep CRM records and pipeline data clean, complete, and current across both opportunities and portfolio companies.
- Assist with deal execution by coordinating documents, tracking milestone progress, monitoring closing items, and maintaining well-structured transaction files.
- Work with internal colleagues and external counterparties to gather, arrange, and manage investment-related materials.
- Look for ways to improve reporting routines, operational workflows, CRM administration, and portfolio management systems to increase efficiency and lower operational risk.
- Identify automation opportunities and other process improvements across investment operations and reporting work.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in operations, investment support, FP&A, reporting, analysis, or similar roles, ideally within venture capital, private equity, investment management, or financial services.
- Strong organization and a very high level of attention to detail, with a clear commitment to accurate data and reliable processes.
- Practical experience using CRM tools, dealflow management platforms, reporting software, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets functions.
- Ability to design, document, refine, and maintain clear operational workflows and processes.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving ability, including spotting data issues and implementing practical fixes.
- Comfort managing several priorities at once while staying accurate and meeting deadlines.
- Self-driven approach with the ability to work independently in a remote, international, fast-moving setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to work well with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience with venture capital, growth-stage investing, portfolio reporting, valuation methods, or investment operations is a strong plus.
- Experience managing CRM systems, building dashboards, or working in blockchain and digital asset ecosystems is also advantageous.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
- Fully remote setup with flexibility to work from India.
- Chance to work with experienced professionals in investment and finance.
- Substantial ownership and exposure to investment operations, portfolio management, and transaction workflows.
- Opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing global business with an innovative culture.
- Hands-on professional development through direct exposure to investment platforms and portfolio operations.
- Collaborative international team environment with exposure to a wide range of industries and companies.
- Flexible working arrangements designed to support both productivity and work-life balance.
- Opportunity to contribute to process improvement and operational innovation initiatives.
