Role overview
This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a mobile maintenance handyperson working across 16 buildings in the Greater Manchester area. The role sits within the maintenance industry and involves delivering planned and preventative maintenance for a large facilities management business.
Compensation and benefits
The position pays up to £27,050 per year, along with holiday entitlement, pension contributions, a company vehicle, and a fuel card. Overtime and on-call work are also available.
Working pattern
You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The start date is immediate, although candidates serving a notice period may also be considered.
Key duties
The successful candidate will carry out a range of maintenance tasks, including fabric-related work, identifying and fixing fabric faults, and completing work in a safe and efficient manner. The role also requires regular interaction with site clients and maintaining strong working relationships on location.
Requirements
Applicants should have prior experience in a maintenance handyperson role and hands-on experience with planned preventative maintenance. A full driving licence is required, along with strong customer service skills.
