Job summary
Golden Hillmont House MHRC is looking for a reliable, detail-focused housekeeper to support a clean, safe, and comfortable setting for residents and staff. This position is part of a healthcare environment, so a strong sense of cleanliness, professionalism, and respect for others is essential. The role is full-time and includes benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, offices, and staff-only areas.
- Carry out sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing tasks across assigned spaces.
- Replenish housekeeping and hygiene supplies when needed.
- Gather and discard waste in line with facility procedures.
- Work in accordance with infection prevention and safety guidelines.
- Escalate maintenance issues or potential safety hazards to management.
- Support laundry-related duties when required.
- Interact in a courteous and professional manner with residents, visitors, and team members.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is preferred.
- Prior housekeeping work in healthcare, residential, or hospitality settings is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle tasks that involve bending, standing, and walking for most of the shift.
- Should be dependable, well-organized, and comfortable working on an independent basis.
- Must be able to clear a background check and complete all pre-employment screenings.
