About the role
An ambitious, founder-led drinks company is hiring a Founder's Associate to work closely with the founders during a period of rapid growth. This position offers broad exposure across the organisation and is suited to someone who enjoys variety, speed, and building systems from the ground up. The role sits at the centre of the business, supporting key decisions and helping turn priorities into action.
You will act as a dependable extension of the founders, contributing across operations, finance, commercial work, and wider business growth. The environment will suit someone who likes solving problems, taking ownership, and having a visible impact on a brand that is still evolving.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a close partner to the founders across day-to-day and strategic work.
- Take ownership of core operational workflows such as order processing, logistics coordination, and resolving customer issues.
- Help plan inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers.
- Maintain financial documentation, build costing models, and support margin analysis.
- Assist with monitoring cash flow and contribute to commercial decisions.
- Lead or support projects including new product introductions, trade events, and process enhancements.
- Gradually take over initiatives that are currently handled directly by the founders.
What the business is looking for
The ideal candidate will have experience in a startup, scale-up, consumer brand, or another fast-moving growth environment. You should be very organised, detail-focused, and comfortable handling both financial and operational work.
Strong analytical ability and commercial awareness are important, along with the confidence to juggle several projects at once. The team is looking for someone who can work independently, move quickly, and stay effective even when plans are still taking shape.
Experience with tools such as Xero, Unleashed, Prospect, or Mintsoft would be helpful, though it is not essential. Above all, the company wants someone with initiative, a hands-on mindset, strong communication skills, and a genuine entrepreneurial approach.
Benefits and perks
- Base salary of £30,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.
- Annual bonus of 5% to 10%.
- EMI share options.
- Direct access to experienced founders and senior leadership.
- Meaningful ownership and responsibility from the outset.
- Clear career growth as the company expands.
- Hybrid working pattern: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
- A collaborative, ambitious, and entrepreneurial team culture.
- The chance to make a real impact on a fast-growing brand.
Additional information
The company is committed to building an inclusive hiring process and values diversity, aiming to create an environment where people can bring their authentic selves to work.
If you apply, the team may not be able to respond to every candidate because of high application volumes. If you do not hear back within 14 days, it means the application will not be moving forward on this occasion. The role may also close while applications are still being reviewed.
