Role overview
This opportunity is for a United States-based Field Events Associate supporting a partner employer. The role blends marketing execution, event operations, and sales support to help run a growing field events program across North America. You will take ownership of event logistics from advance planning through onsite delivery and follow-up, with a focus on driving visibility, lead capture, and pipeline contribution.
The position is well suited to someone who enjoys handling many moving parts, works well in a collaborative setting, and is motivated by measurable commercial results and strong operational standards.
Key accountabilities
- Coordinate and deliver more than 30 trade shows each year, covering logistics, booth setup, shipping, and travel planning for event staff.
- Support pre-event preparation, including kickoff discussions and onsite team readiness so events run effectively.
- Manage post-event lead workflows such as data entry, lead routing, and timely coordination with sales for follow-up.
- Partner with growth marketing on pre-event and post-event campaigns that help increase booth visits and audience engagement.
- Run onsite event operations and keep execution aligned with schedules and plans throughout trade shows.
- Monitor, track, and reconcile budgets and expenses to maintain cost control and financial accuracy.
- Evaluate possible trade show and sponsorship opportunities that match business priorities and available budget.
- Develop and maintain event playbooks, SOPs, and reference materials that improve consistency and scalability.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to assess event performance and improve return on investment.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B event marketing, field marketing, or event operations.
- Solid project management ability with the capacity to juggle several events and deadlines at once.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, paired with reliable execution and follow-through.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce is helpful.
- Willingness to travel regularly for onsite event delivery across North America.
- Positive, self-starting approach and comfort working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
