Data Processor (Survey)

Role overview

NMDC Infra is seeking a Data Processor (Survey) to support day-to-day data handling and reporting within the ground improvement function in Abu Dhabi. The position focuses on maintaining accurate production, survey, machinery, manpower, and geotechnical records, while ensuring information is processed, checked, and shared in line with project needs and company procedures.

What you will do

• Oversee daily data processing activities and keep operational records current.
• Build and update databases using daily production information, including changes that arise during project execution.
• Record and track machinery and manpower timesheets accurately.
• Maintain a complete database of geotechnical data produced throughout the project.
• Support engineering teams with routine analysis and calculations by collecting relevant information and performing checks under the supervision of a geotechnical engineer.
• Assist with document control for the geotechnical engineering and ground improvement team by updating the required registers.
• Follow established policies and procedures to help the division operate efficiently, professionally, and effectively.
• Share accurate updates with the manager on completed work, progress, incidents, delays, and expected work aligned with site activity.
• Coordinate communication between the ground improvement operations team and support departments.
• Develop Excel-based and other database templates, along with technical code used for data processing.
• Work in accordance with HSE requirements and related procedures.
• Handle duties beyond the immediate role when operational requirements demand it.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve issues that affect data processing operations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to process, combine, and manage related data.
• Process information and route it to the relevant personnel for approval.
• Help introduce better practices and standards for data processing activities.
• Comply with company policies, operating procedures, occupational health and safety rules, and environmental and quality standards.

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 4 years of experience in survey data processing.
• Prior experience in infrastructure or construction companies is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Jean Lutz, Excel and other database software, Power BI, and AutoCAD.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.

The role may require taking on responsibilities beyond the listed scope when operational needs arise.
