Custodial Services Worker

Key responsibilities

• Follow established procedures and safety practices to help maintain a secure workplace, including compliance with applicable OSHA, local, state, federal, and company rules.
• Keep work areas neat and sanitary to support the health and safety of others.
• Use, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment correctly.
• Clean assigned spaces according to company and client standards.
• Handle trash collection, storage, disposal, and transport to the designated disposal locations.
• Submit maintenance issues to the right team through work order requests.
• Lock and unlock the facility as needed and help ensure the premises remain secure.
• Protect company property and assets.

Qualifications and working conditions

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow basic safety rules and precautions when working around physical hazards and chemical cleaners.
• Professional, friendly, and efficient manner with guests, clients, and coworkers.
• Flexibility to respond to guest needs.
• This role can involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and long periods of walking or standing.
• Uniforms and/or personal protective equipment may be required.
