Role overview
foodpanda is seeking a Commercial Projects & Analytics Trainee to support the project management team with data-backed insights, project tracking, and roadmap coordination. The role focuses on helping define project direction and keeping milestones, timelines, and delivery goals on track.
Responsibilities
- Assist the project management team by analyzing data and generating insights that help advance ongoing initiatives.
- Track projects closely, including roadmaps, milestones, timelines, and achievement progress.
- Monitor key performance indicators, maintain project dashboards, and support the shaping of project vision and strategy.
- Help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in line with scope.
- Create deadlines, allocate responsibilities, and follow up on progress updates.
- Build detailed project plans to monitor delivery and progress.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support strong project outcomes.
- Identify and manage risks to reduce potential project issues.
- Prepare status reports and updates for management.
Requirements
- A strong interest in contributing meaningfully and learning quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior exposure to data analytics tools or methods is preferred, including SQL and Looker.
- Applicants who can commit for more than 6 months are preferred.
- Solid project management ability, including handling several work streams at once and organizing time and priorities effectively.
- Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Familiarity with SQL and Python is an advantage.

This position is based in Singapore and is an onsite contract role.
