Job Summary
This manager-level role oversees the daily functioning of centralized dispatch. The position is responsible for building and sustaining performance and efficiency measures, along with cost-control practices. It also reviews operational performance, safety, service quality, and other improvement opportunities in collaboration with sales, customer, experience, and operations teams to support strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of centralized dispatch.
- Support the Area in achieving efficiency targets across all business lines.
- Create, introduce, and uphold processes, procedures, and programs that strengthen safety, efficiency, and profitability across the sites and the Area as a whole.
- Maintain knowledge of Service Machine standards and ensure they are understood.
- Issue verbal and written disciplinary action when needed.
- Carry out employee performance reviews using the standard review process and other appropriate performance management tools.
- Recruit, screen, hire, and ensure onboarding and training for dispatch employees.
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or, if no degree is held, a high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant work experience. Candidates should also have 3 years of relevant experience in the waste, environmental services, energy, or transportation industry, along with 2 years of supervisory or management experience in addition to the education requirement.

This position is primarily based in a professional office setting and regularly involves using standard office tools and equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. Compensation and Bonus
The expected base salary range for this role across the United States is $84,700 to $124,096 per year. The final offer may vary depending on relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. This position is also eligible for a 20% AIP bonus.
