Architectural Designer

Role overview

The Architectural Designer will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, taking on tasks with limited supervision. The role involves supporting the design process through architectural detailing, coordination, and related design development work.

Key duties

• Contribute to project work independently and with guidance, collaborating with a cross-functional design team.
• Support architectural design, selection, coordination, and detailing activities.
• Develop presentation and design materials using tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, and other relevant software.
• Create early-stage design sketches for small to medium site plans.
• Work with other disciplines to keep project documentation aligned and coordinated.
• Help produce concept drawings and design development materials.
• Join field site inspections when needed, including on-site walk-throughs.
• Take part in project team meetings and contribute actively.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Between 1 and 3 years of related professional experience is needed.
• A strong creative design portfolio is essential.
• Applicants should have strong communication, collaboration, presentation, graphic, and organizational abilities.
• The ability to manage several projects at once is important.
• Proficiency is required in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
