Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main analytical contact for assigned projects, attend related meetings, keep data current, and ensure internal and external partners stay informed.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
  • Create and manage project timelines, track risks, monitor milestones, recommend production requirements, and coordinate supplier commitments and schedules.
  • Support the Project Manager by monitoring inventory on a weekly, bi-weekly, or daily basis depending on project risk, and communicate requirements to suppliers and distribution centers.
  • Help ensure uninterrupted supply for launched projects and limited-time offers while reducing supply assurance issues and obsolescence costs.
  • Develop supply allocation plans and arrange expedited shipments when needed to prevent shortages in promotional or core food and packaging items.
  • Review inventory for core and limited-time-offer items and suggest corrective actions to reduce future stockout risk.
  • Handle project accounting tasks such as invoice approvals, new accrual setup, accrual updates, and monthly maintenance of accrual balances.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in project management or a related field; background in retail or foodservice is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is strongly preferred; a master’s degree in Supply Chain or a related area is an added advantage.

Compensation and conditions

The annual base salary range for this role is CAD 67,000 to CAD 115,000. The target annual bonus for the role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, subject to company and individual performance.
