Role overview
This position focuses on identifying and securing suitable warehouse locations across the GCC region. The role combines market research, site evaluation, stakeholder coordination, negotiation, and end-to-end project management to support logistics network expansion.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out detailed research into industrial real estate conditions across GCC markets and translate findings into practical location recommendations.
- Visit shortlisted warehouse sites in person and complete due diligence, including checks on infrastructure, land-use compatibility, and operational suitability.
- Lead negotiations on lease structures, land purchase options, and partnership arrangements with local developers and government bodies.
- Work closely with internal teams such as operations, transportation, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure site decisions support the wider logistics strategy.
- Track regulatory, policy, and economic changes throughout the GCC and evaluate how they may affect warehouse site selection.
- Own the project schedule from the first round of screening through to final site delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics site selection, commercial real estate, or supply chain network planning.
- Prior experience in the Middle East is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability, including experience developing site-selection scoring models.
- Working knowledge of geospatial data, logistics data, commercial real estate trends, industrial parks, and GCC regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- English fluency is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Ability to speak Arabic or hands-on experience working in the Middle East.
- Exposure to GIS tools, network optimization software, or advanced analytics platforms.
- Background in e-commerce or retail logistics fulfillment center planning.
- Existing relationships or access to industrial real estate developers or free zone authorities in the Middle East.
