Role Summary

This full-time, on-site Translator position is based in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will translate written and spoken content across languages while preserving the original meaning, tone, and context. The role also involves adapting material for local and cultural suitability, preparing translations for both internal and external use, and supporting communication in meetings and cross-functional discussions.

Key Duties

• Translate written and verbal materials accurately between languages.
• Keep the intended meaning, style, and context intact in every translation.
• Review documents to improve clarity and consistency before final delivery.
• Adapt content so it fits the cultural and local audience appropriately.
• Prepare translated material for use within the company and for outside audiences.
• Work closely with teams from different functions and provide language support during meetings.
• Maintain glossaries and use translation memory tools to support consistency.
• Edit and proofread translated content to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Manage deadlines effectively while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in at least two languages, with strong reading, writing, and speaking ability in each.
• Capability to translate technical, business, and general content without losing meaning or tone.
• Careful attention to detail when reviewing, editing, and proofreading translations.
• Willingness to work on-site in Yanbu and coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Good planning and time management skills to balance multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Exposure to translation tools or related software will be considered an added advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• Previous work in translation or interpretation in a professional setting is helpful.
