Role Overview

This role is for a Team Manager based in Hail, Saudi Arabia. The position is responsible for leading a self-directed, cross-functional team that manages poultry intake and the processing of defined poultry products. The goal is to meet internal customer needs while staying within performance targets, including efficiency expectations and zero non-conformance, and ensuring compliance with product specifications as well as quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a self-managing, multi-skilled team involved in poultry intake and processing activities.
• Ensure production output meets internal customer requirements and agreed performance measures.
• Maintain compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Work with production management to finalize plans and targets related to production and maintenance operations.
• Promote a safe workplace and actively reduce the risk of accidents.
• Support automated process control operations and related production activities.
• Identify and suggest plant improvements and process changes that reduce cost and improve service delivery.
• Create a strong team culture and improve employee productivity.
• Train team members for assigned tasks and help build a diverse, multicultural workforce.
• Work cooperatively with managers, peers, and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Processing, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within poultry or the food industry.
• Knowledge of international quality systems such as ISO 9000 and HACCP.
• Experience working with a multinational and multifunctional workforce.
• Background in coordinating production and maintenance plans with management.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment and reduce workplace incidents.
• Exposure to automated process control in production settings.
• Strong ability to build team spirit and raise output levels.
• Capability to train staff and develop a multicultural workforce.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
