Role overview
Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Surveyor to join its busy Dublin team. This position suits an MRICS-qualified professional who wants to build further experience in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment with clear room for professional growth.
What you will do
- Carry out valuation assignments across a varied portfolio of asset types for purposes such as lending security, financial reporting, acquisitions, and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed, high-standard valuation reports and provide advice tailored to a wide client base.
- Handle the routine delivery of instructions with the right level of oversight.
- Help strengthen and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Contribute to both recurring valuation programmes and more complex one-off projects.
- Support efforts to promote the Valuation & Advisory offering to current and potential clients.
- Assist in mentoring and developing less experienced team members.
Skills and competencies
- Excellent analytical and numerical ability, including the interpretation of market movements.
- Confidence in developing informed views on property value.
- Capability to juggle several assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication, with a relationship-focused approach.
- A practical, creative problem-solver with a solutions-led mindset.
Experience and qualifications
- MRICS qualification is required.
- Experience with valuation tools such as Argus is considered an advantage.
- Between 1 and 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial valuation.
- Irish market experience is preferred, though not essential.
- Background working with institutional clients, lenders, or property companies is beneficial.
