Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Role overview

Cloudmoyo is looking for a senior QA Automation Engineer to support testing for complex web and component-driven applications. The role combines manual and automated quality assurance, backend validation, and close collaboration in an Agile/Scrum environment.

What you'll work on

• Evaluate complex web-based and component-oriented applications across the full testing lifecycle.
• Design, build, and maintain automation coverage while also handling manual validation where needed.
• Perform SQL-based data checks, investigations, and issue isolation for test and production-like data.
• Test APIs and backend services to verify functional behavior and system integration.
• Work with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking, and interact with SnapLogic pipelines when required.
• Validate enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and NetSuite, or comparable business systems.
• Communicate technical defects and quality risks in a way that clearly explains business impact.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience testing complex, web-based, and component-based applications.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on automation testing experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum delivery practices.
• Practical experience with both manual testing and automated testing methods.
• Solid SQL skills, especially for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience validating APIs and backend services.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect handling.
• Familiarity with SnapLogic pipelines is preferred.
• Background in insurance, financial, accounting, or other regulated environments is a plus.
• Prior testing experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar enterprise platforms is preferred.
• Ability to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Preference for candidates familiar with Selenium using Java, Playwright using TypeScript, Bruno, and Schemathesis.
• No experience gaps.

This is a senior-level QA automation role based in Pimpri-Chinchwad, India.

Suggested automation stack includes Selenium with Java, Playwright with TypeScript, and tools such as Bruno and Schemathesis.
