Role overview
The team is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer who is motivated by infrastructure stability, automation, and the design of scalable production systems.
What you will do
- Take ownership of production infrastructure reliability and continuously improve stability.
- Plan, run, and support deployments as well as infrastructure modifications.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions with Ansible and Terraform.
- Support and enhance Kubernetes-based and containerized environments.
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools for operations.
- Track system health, analyze incidents, and improve observability proactively.
- Contribute to CI/CD enhancements alongside Development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams.
- Work with monitoring and alerting platforms to reduce outages and improve performance.
- Keep technical documentation, runbooks, and operating procedures up to date.
- Assist with DNS, WAF, CDN, and caching infrastructure when needed.
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, System Administration, or Build/Release Engineering.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting capability.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
- Hands-on use of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools, especially Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Solid Bash scripting skills.
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or VictoriaMetrics.
- Good understanding of networking basics, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience using Git and modern software delivery practices.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and improve infrastructure proactively.
- Fluency in Russian and intermediate English level (B1 or above) for documentation and team communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS or GCP.
- Exposure to RabbitMQ or AMQP.
- Experience with Cloudflare, Akamai, WAF, or CDN technologies.
- Python scripting skills.
- Experience with tracing and advanced observability tools.
- A public GitHub profile, open-source contributions, or personal engineering projects.
