Role overview
The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising on-site civil construction work, coordinating with multiple project stakeholders, and ensuring that activities progress safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and budget expectations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and allocate labour effectively so work progresses smoothly with minimal downtime and better output.
- Maintain adherence to safety standards, applicable building regulations, and internal company procedures during all stages of construction.
- Carry out routine inspections at the site to spot risks, defects, or delays early and take appropriate corrective steps.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other involved parties to address issues and support stronger project delivery.
- Monitor site execution to help ensure projects are finished on schedule, within budget, and to the expected quality level.
Candidate profile
The preferred applicant should have 2 to 7 years of experience in civil engineering or closely related areas such as building construction, civil construction, or site engineering. Prior exposure to building construction in Central Government projects will be an advantage. A Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution is required, along with a solid understanding of civil engineering concepts and supervision methods across different construction assignments.
