Right Information Technician

Role overview

Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Cork, is hiring a Right Information Technician to support onsite project delivery. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of maintenance-ready information that helps multiple discipline projects move smoothly from design into execution.

What you will do

• Join the Right Information function within a busy project engineering environment at a GMP manufacturing facility.
• Develop maintenance strategies using the standard process set out in internal procedures.
• Collaborate with project engineers and process engineers to prepare maintenance data for capital projects.
• Work with maintenance subject matter experts to make sure the information matches established maintenance standards.
• Prepare data loaders for the site CMMS platform.

Experience and skills needed

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, is preferred; alternatively, a time-served Mechanical Fitter with strong experience may be considered.
• You should have at least 5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering.
• Previous exposure to maintenance or project work in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical settings is an advantage.
• You need to work well on your own, take initiative, and collaborate across functions in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• The ability to interpret P&IDs is required.
• You should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Prior hands-on experience with MAXIMO or another CMMS system is beneficial.
