About the role
Get You Housekeeping is recruiting an experienced housekeeper or residential cleaner for regular cleaning assignments in Thornleigh and nearby suburbs. The company has been providing weekly home cleaning services across Sydney and Brisbane for more than 14 years, with a focus on matching cleaners to recurring clients close to home.
What the job offers
- Hourly pay between $33.84 and $47.75, with weekly pay every Tuesday.
- Consistent weekly clients rather than one-off jobs.
- Work is limited to weekdays only; there are no weekend shifts or late-night hours.
- Shifts are typically a minimum of 3 to 4 hours.
- Cleaning products and equipment are supplied by the client.
- Paid, in-person training is provided before you begin.
- A supportive and friendly management team.
- Room to develop and grow with the business.
Key responsibilities
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces.
- Vacuum and mop floors.
- Make beds and change bed linen.
- Handle laundry tasks such as folding and ironing.
- Carry out general tidying around the home.
What the employer is looking for
- Previous experience in housekeeping or residential cleaning.
- Availability to work any weekday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
- Residence in Thornleigh or a nearby area, or willingness to travel locally.
- Conversational English skills.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Applicants on a Working Holiday Visa are welcome if they bring strong residential cleaning experience and can commit for at least six months.
