About Moove
Moove is developing a large-scale mobility fleet supported by technology designed to power transport platforms. Its main Drive-to-Own model opens access to vehicle ownership through a revenue-based financing structure, helping mobility entrepreneurs who are often underserved to grow and succeed.
The company’s expansion has been driven by its global partnership with Uber and backing from major investors and lenders such as Uber, Mubadala, BlackRock, MUFG, and others. With a presence across 19 cities on 6 continents — Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and the Middle East — Moove continues to grow through acquisitions and strategic partnerships with industry leaders including Waymo and Uber. Its mission is to improve mobility by making it safer, more efficient, and more accessible, while also creating economic opportunities and supporting skill development in the mobility sector.
Role Overview
As a Remote Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring live fleet activity, handling remote support requests, and helping ensure rides are completed safely and efficiently in Dubai.
This is a high-responsibility frontline operations position. You will work through a remote assistance platform to support autonomous vehicles in the field, raise issues accurately, and contribute to the operational knowledge base that improves fleet performance over time. The role follows a rotating shift pattern and provides coverage across the fleet 24/7.
Key Responsibilities
- Track vehicle activity in real time and respond promptly to remote assistance requests.
- Use the remote support platform to assist vehicles in line with operational procedures.
- Work to resolve issues independently where possible, and escalate unresolved cases to the appropriate team lead without delay while following them through to closure.
- Spot recurring vehicle behaviour or system performance trends and highlight anything that needs attention.
- Share observations with the relevant teams in a clear and structured way.
- Gather, organise, and summarise issues and feedback from the remote assistance system.
- Support customer service specialists with user communication and follow-up information when needed.
- Take part in testing and feedback activities related to remote assistance and customer service tools.
Shift and Working Conditions
The work is shift-based. Exact working days and hours will be set by the line manager, and schedules may change depending on operational requirements. The role requires comfort with rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification; no specific field of study is required.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, along with email and internal digital systems.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
- A composed, calm approach under pressure with strong awareness of surrounding situations.
- Ability to learn quickly and get up to speed on new systems and features.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts in a round-the-clock operational setting.
- Valid UAE driving licence and at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Clean driving history, including no major traffic violations in the last 12 months, no Salik or RTA black points related to reckless driving, no DUI or drug-related driving offences, and no accidents causing death or serious injury.
Success Measures
- Remote assistance requests are completed accurately and within the required response times.
- Issues are escalated properly and tracked through to resolution without missing steps.
- Operational reports are submitted on time and include meaningful observations.
- No safety compromises occur while you are on duty.
Team and Reporting Line
You will report directly to the Remote Operator Lead and work closely with the Remote Operations Team.
About the Team
The team is collaborative, positive, curious, and highly engaged. Members think quickly, work efficiently, laugh often, and are looking for people with the same mindset to help advance the mission of changing vehicle ownership and making financial freedom more achievable.
