Quality Controller

Role Overview

The Quality Controller is responsible for safeguarding product standards across the full manufacturing journey. The role focuses on defining, checking, and maintaining quality expectations in factory operations so that finished goods consistently meet the required benchmark before they are shipped to customers.

Core Responsibilities

• Track product quality at each step of the production flow.
• Guide factory QC teams on Cult’s quality standards and the practical use of quality tools.
• Contribute during product development and sampling, and review sample quality before they are shared for design and fit evaluation.
• Attend pre-production discussions before manufacturing begins, flag potential risk areas to the factory, and ensure corrective action is incorporated.
• Carry out inline and end-of-line checks on the sewing floor.
• Inspect packed garments in the finishing department during the final stage.
• Conduct quality audits within the manufacturing process to ensure outward garment quality remains aligned with standards.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Strong understanding of garment construction to assess samples effectively.
• Working knowledge of the garment development lifecycle.
• Solid grasp of production processes.
• Familiarity with AQL and the ability to perform inline, end-line, and final inspections.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Comfort using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in a relevant quality control or inspection role.
