Position overview
This role sits within PNC’s Corporate and Institutional Banking organization and supports the First Line of Defense KYC Execution team. It is a remote opportunity for approved home-based work from a quiet, secure, and confidential location. Availability may depend on geography, and occasional onsite participation could be needed based on business requirements.
What you will do
- Support the design, upkeep, and ongoing refinement of the quality management system.
- Review KYC files prepared by relationship managers and onboarding teams to confirm that information is accurate and aligned with bank policy, internal procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Validate customer data, business activity, narratives, supporting documents, and final case decisions to ensure they are well supported and clearly documented.
- Use external research when needed to verify findings and complete reviews.
- Prepare a presentation deck summarizing the prior month’s QA outcomes and key observations.
- Produce reports for internal users, customers, or suppliers as needed.
- Take part in supplier quality improvement work and help raise incoming quality standards where relevant.
- Perform quality analysis, identify recurring issues, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Provide practical conclusions and recommendations for improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for
- About 1 to 3 years of investigative or related KYC experience, with strong exposure to BSA/AML and sanctions red flags, ideally in financial services.
- At least 1 year of direct quality control or quality assurance experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain exceptions to COOs and other front-line stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, adapt to shifting demands, and meet tight deadlines.
- Completion of a university or college degree is typically expected, although a comparable mix of education, certifications, and experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- No required certifications or licenses.
Additional requirements and conditions
- This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
- PNC will not participate in STEM OPT for this position.
- If remote work is approved, the employee must work from a private, secure, and confidential home workspace.
- Some in-office attendance may be required depending on business needs.
- The opening is generally expected to remain posted for two business days from 06/18/2026, though PNC may extend it at its discretion.
- The role is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA) and, where applicable, SAFE Act and/or FINRA restrictions that may limit hiring based on certain criminal history.
Benefits
Eligible full-time employees may receive a broad benefits package that can include medical and prescription drug coverage with HSA options, dental and vision plans, life insurance for employees and spouse/child, short- and long-term disability coverage, 401(k) with employer match, pension and stock purchase plans, dependent care reimbursement, backup child and elder care, adoption/surrogacy/doula reimbursement, educational assistance including select fully paid programs, and a wellness program with financial incentives.
Paid time off may include maternity and/or parental leave, up to 11 paid holidays annually, 9 occasional absence days each year unless otherwise required by law, and 15 to 25 vacation days per year depending on career level and years of service.
Equal opportunity and accommodations
PNC provides reasonable accommodation during the application process for qualified applicants and individuals with disabilities. Accommodation requests can be made by email or by phone, and all submitted information will be kept confidential and used only to support the accommodation process.
