Role overview
This opportunity is for a Property Administrator at North City Shopping Centre in Porirua. The position is responsible for handling the centre’s administrative workload and working in close partnership with the Centre Manager to keep the retail site running smoothly each day.
You will be part of a seasoned retail property team with experience across shopping centre management in New Zealand and internationally. The role is designed for someone who wants to strengthen their current capabilities and progress their career within a respected organisation.
This is a site-based role located at North City Shopping Centre. A car park and a work laptop are provided. Savills also offers structured training and continuing support to help you perform well in the role.
Key duties
- Manage the centre’s property administration end to end.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to keep lease records accurate and current.
- Handle credit control, debtor follow-up, and client-facing reporting.
- Process and monitor all supplier invoices.
- Support the site team with budget tracking and financial reporting.
- Track and coordinate additional income sources such as casual mall leasing, turnover rent, and percentage rent.
- Assist with purchase order administration.
- Prepare and maintain the centre’s required reporting.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will already have experience using property management software, with MRI considered the preferred system. Prior exposure of around 2 years in a similar position is required.
You should be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks effectively, and comfortable managing a busy workload. Strong written and spoken communication, careful attention to detail, and intermediate Microsoft Office skills are important for success in this role. Experience with InDesign would be an added advantage.
