Role Summary

This position is for a proactive and detail-focused Procurement Officer who will handle sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for technology and engineering projects. The role is centered on making purchases on time, securing good commercial value, and building dependable supplier partnerships while ensuring all procurement work aligns with company policy and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and approve suppliers according to company expectations.
• Collect and compare quotations to secure strong commercial value while matching technical and project specifications.
• Work out pricing, contract terms, and delivery timelines with vendors.
• Draft and place purchase orders, then track them until final delivery.
• Liaise with engineering, project, and warehouse teams so materials are available when required.
• Develop productive working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review supplier performance and address delays, quality concerns, or commercial disputes.
• Carry out procurement work in line with company procedures, budget limits, and contractual commitments.
• Keep procurement files, vendor records, and purchasing paperwork accurate and up to date.
• Spot opportunities to reduce costs and improve procurement and supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of procurement experience, ideally in construction, MEP, ELV, ICT, or technology-related environments.
• A solid grasp of procurement workflows, supplier coordination, and commercial negotiation.
• Hands-on experience sourcing technical materials and equipment for engineering or construction work.
• Comfort using ERP platforms and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical thinking, organisation, and troubleshooting ability.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Capacity to perform well in a busy setting while handling several priorities and project deadlines.
