Role overview

This role focuses on shaping and improving procurement strategy for logistics services across Europe. The position covers warehousing, trucking, and last-mile courier services, with responsibility for supplier development, commercial negotiations, cost control, and market risk monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Create, implement, and refine long-term procurement strategies for European warehousing, trucking, and last-mile courier operations in line with overall business goals.
• Identify, assess, and onboard strong suppliers while consolidating FTL/LTL trucking capacity, warehouse networks, and last-mile partners into a reliable and competitive supplier base.
• Negotiate long-term cooperation terms, including pricing, service-level commitments, and payment conditions, to improve commercial outcomes and service performance.
• Build and maintain a structured supplier management framework with performance reviews, tiering, and incentive methods that encourage continuous service improvement.
• Track European logistics market developments, regulatory shifts, and industry risks, then adapt procurement plans and recommend mitigation measures.
• Work closely with operations, sales, finance, and other internal teams to coordinate procurement resources and support smooth end-to-end logistics execution.

Candidate profile

• At least 5 years of experience in European integrated logistics procurement, specifically across warehousing, trucking, and last-mile courier services.
• Strong understanding of the European contract logistics market, supported by established local relationships with trucking providers, warehouse suppliers, and last-mile courier vendors.
• Demonstrated success in strategic procurement planning and execution across multiple logistics scenarios, with measurable results in cost reduction and supplier ecosystem development.
• Strong negotiation skills and solid experience handling contracts and long-term supplier agreements.
