The company is hiring a Principal Frontend Engineer for its Data Intelligence Platform team to help build an end-to-end AI-enabled data processing and analytics product for enterprise customers.

Role summary

This senior individual contributor role calls for deep frontend expertise, strong technical leadership, and the ability to shape product outcomes while delivering fast, scalable, and polished user experiences for complex data-heavy workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the evolution of the frontend architecture and choose the most suitable technology stack.
• Set and uphold engineering standards covering code quality, performance, security, and accessibility.
• Lead design and technical review sessions to keep implementation aligned with product direction and platform objectives.
• Promote the use of modern AI-enabled tools that improve developer productivity, code quality, and test coverage.
• Design and deliver rich dashboards, data-centric interfaces, and interactive visual components.
• Encourage adoption of modern frontend frameworks, libraries, and developer tooling.
• Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to turn complex needs into clear and usable solutions.
• Contribute to design systems and reusable component libraries that keep the UI consistent.
• Coach frontend engineers across experience levels and help raise overall technical craftsmanship.
• Advocate for AI/LLM-assisted development practices within the engineering team.
• Promote engineering excellence, experimentation, and innovation across the broader organization.
• Help shape the engineering culture and support hiring efforts.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional frontend development experience, including 3 or more years in a lead or principal position.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, along with the React ecosystem, state management tools such as MobX or Redux, build pipelines, and UI component development.
• Demonstrated ability to design frontend architecture and scalable systems for enterprise-grade products.
• Practical experience improving performance, handling large datasets, and keeping interfaces responsive.
• Exposure to visualization and UI tooling such as ECharts, AG Grid, React Flow, Monaco Editor, or comparable libraries is highly desirable.
• Experience working with cross-functional product teams and influencing both technical and product planning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows such as code generation, automated testing, or AI-based refactoring is a strong advantage.
• Preferred background includes data-intensive products such as dashboards, analytics, real-time visualizations, data pipelines, or low-code transformation workflows.
• Additional value is given to candidates who have built graph-based or state-management-heavy applications using tools like React Flow or XFlow.
• Exposure to WebSockets, collaborative web tools, data engineering concepts, AI models, or Python notebooks is beneficial.
• Strong communication, initiative, and a passion for driving technology forward are important for success in the role.
