Role overview
LT Distribution Europe is looking for a seasoned and well-structured PMO Manager to support its operations in the United Arab Emirates. This position is suited to someone who can strengthen project governance, improve delivery discipline, and help steer strategic initiatives across the business.
Job details
- Position: PMO Manager (Project Management Office Manager)
- Location: United Arab Emirates
- Work arrangement: Full-time, with on-site work; hybrid working is also available
Key responsibilities
- Head the Project Management Office and ensure strong governance across projects.
- Create, refine, and roll out project management standards, approaches, and best practices.
- Manage project portfolios, timelines, budgets, risk exposure, and resource planning.
- Track project health and prepare executive dashboards and leadership reports.
- Guide project managers through planning, delivery, and successful completion of initiatives.
- Set up project controls, risk oversight structures, and compliance procedures.
- Make sure projects stay aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Continuously improve project management maturity and capability across the organization.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related field.
- Prior experience leading a PMO, managing portfolios, or working in a senior project management capacity.
- Solid understanding of project governance, portfolio oversight, and PMO operating models.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-PgMP, PMI-PMOCP, or similar are considered a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with project tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, or Asana.
- Strong skills in analysis, leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to juggle several complex projects and strategic programs at the same time.
