An acclaimed hedge fund is seeking a junior Operations Analyst to join its London-based operations function. The business is known for strong performance, high-quality training, and market-leading employee compensation.

What the role covers

This position offers a wide-ranging remit across core investment operations. The successful hire will work on clearing, collateral management, relationships with prime brokers, and trade lifecycle activities.

A meaningful part of the job, around 30–40%, is dedicated to project work. The role includes substantial ownership of infrastructure and process-improvement initiatives for the London business, with a high degree of independence and responsibility.

Development opportunity

This is a junior appointment designed for someone with around 2–4 years of experience. In addition to operations exposure, the role may provide the chance to build technical skills such as Python, VBA, and SQL.

Compensation and benefits

Total first-year compensation is expected to fall in the range of £125,000 to £175,000. The package is positioned above typical analyst pay in the market and includes strong benefits and clear progression prospects. A sign-on bonus will also be provided to offset any unvested or forfeited bonus from a previous role.
