Role Overview

This role focuses on managing receiving and merchandising activities so merchandise reaches the sales floor efficiently while maintaining store standards. The position also plays a key part in creating a welcoming customer experience, keeping the store and backroom organized, and supporting the team through coaching, planning, and day-to-day coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a strong experience for both internal teams and store customers.
• Model honesty, integrity, and respect for confidentiality.
• Coordinate truck unloading and prioritize getting product onto the sales floor.
• Coach and guide associates on merchandising and processing routines.
• Check that products are tagged, hung, secured, and coded correctly.
• Work with the Coordinator on Duty to keep goods moving smoothly to the floor.
• Make sure daily tasks are completed according to the store plan and adjust priorities when needed.
• Track team productivity and provide coaching where required.
• Keep back stock organized and rotated for easy replenishment.
• Follow merchandising standards and signage guidelines.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and recovery standards in the backroom.
• Support recycling efforts and hazardous-waste procedures where applicable.
• Share updates clearly with management and associates while setting priorities.
• Give and receive feedback and recognition constructively.
• Work with management to identify training needs and improve team effectiveness.
• Follow labor laws, company policies, and operating procedures.
• Support credit and loyalty program promotion.
• Contribute to shrink-reduction initiatives and store safety practices.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational ability, with close attention to detail.
• Comfort with handling multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and unexpected situations.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work well with peers and supervisors.
• Capability to lift heavy items, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to train other team members.
• At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Compensation
