Role Overview
This position is for an experienced Human Resources Executive in Dubai, UAE, responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring smooth HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, performance management, and compliance.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Lead hiring activities from sourcing candidates through to screening, interviewing, and joining formalities.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs and role expectations.
- Draft offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding paperwork.
- Run orientation sessions and induction programs for new hires.
Employee Relations
- Act as a first point of contact for staff queries and HR-related support.
- Assist with workplace conflict handling and disciplinary procedures.
- Help build engagement initiatives and contribute to a healthy workplace culture.
HR Operations and Administration
- Keep employee files and HR systems updated accurately while protecting confidentiality.
- Handle employee lifecycle updates such as transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Communicate and enforce HR policies and procedures consistently.
Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Compile payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, overtime, and deductions.
- Support employee benefits processes, including insurance enrollment and claims handling.
- Work with payroll providers and finance to ensure salaries are processed on time.
Performance Management
- Support appraisal cycles and employee development activities.
- Monitor review timelines and maintain records for performance evaluations.
- Assist with learning and development initiatives.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure HR practices align with labor legislation, company policy, and accepted HR standards.
- Prepare reports and workforce metrics covering headcount, attrition, attendance, and hiring activity.
- Support HR documentation for internal and external audit checks.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 3 to 7 years of experience in HR generalist roles.
- Working knowledge of labor regulations and current HR practices is expected.
- Hands-on exposure to HRIS platforms, payroll software, and Microsoft Office is needed.
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, PHR, or CHRP will be considered an added advantage.
