Role Overview
The Housekeeper is expected to uphold exceptional cleanliness standards across guest rooms and shared hotel spaces. This position also plays an important part in guest safety by following strict rules for key control, room entry, and escalation of any unusual or suspicious activity. A strong eye for detail and a consistent focus on quality are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Present a neat, professional appearance at all times.
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms to meet and exceed hotel and company expectations.
- Take care of uniforms, cleaning tools, and supply usage responsibly.
- Keep the team informed about the status of rooms that have been cleaned.
- Handle guest questions and concerns in a polite, timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness in public and common areas.
- Report unsafe conditions, emergencies, and security-related concerns to management promptly.
