Store team environment
The store team is expected to provide a consistently high level of service and hospitality. The goal is to create a welcoming shopping experience where customers feel comfortable and supported from the moment they enter the store.
Role responsibilities
The Hardware Clerk helps maintain a well-run department through customer service, stocking, and sales support. Day-to-day work may include assisting shoppers, replenishing inventory, keeping merchandise organized, and handling transactions accurately.
Working schedule
Store hours run from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Shifts can change based on workload and assignment needs.
Pay and payroll
The hourly pay range for this role is USD 16.10 to USD 19.25. Employees are paid bi-weekly, with an on-demand pay option available.

Experience and preferred background
Prior work in retail or customer-facing roles such as cashier, sales associate, bagger, or courtesy clerk is considered helpful. Experience with retail chains such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons is also valued. Knowledge of home repair, automotive care, or related hands-on hobbies is an added advantage.
