Role Summary
The Graphic Designer – Brand Creative will help shape and produce visual content for all Call It Spring consumer-facing channels. This position contributes to campaigns, seasonal projects, everyday marketing design, and content creation with a strong focus on craft, taste, and precision.
Reporting to the Art Director, the designer will collaborate with creative and marketing teams to turn approved ideas into finished assets for digital, social, e-commerce, email, retail, paid media, PR, and internal communications. The role also includes early creative exploration such as trend research, mood boards, reference gathering, campaign ideation, and support with junior-level art direction.
This is a practical, hands-on opportunity for someone with solid design fundamentals, an interest in fashion and culture, and the desire to grow in a fast-moving brand environment.
Responsibilities
- Create design assets for digital, social, e-commerce, email, retail, PR, paid media, and internal communications.
- Turn approved concepts and creative direction into polished visuals that align with the brand.
- Prepare assets in the correct sizes, formats, and production-ready specifications.
- Support campaign launches, seasonal updates, product storytelling, promotional content, and ongoing marketing needs.
- Produce print-ready files and digital production assets.
- Design presentations, internal decks, campaign summaries, and other branded materials when needed.
- Keep visual consistency across channels while adapting artwork to different formats and audiences.
- Ensure deliverables meet brand standards, quality expectations, deadlines, and business objectives.
- Assist with early creative direction through trend research, mood boards, visual references, and exploratory concepts.
- Contribute ideas in brainstorms for campaigns, shoots, content, retail activations, and seasonal work.
- Work closely with the Art Director and wider creative team throughout the design process.
- Stay informed about fashion, culture, youth trends, social media, and evolving visual styles.
- Respond to feedback constructively and continue building creative and technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with Brand, Content, Digital, E-commerce, Retail, and Marketing teams.
- Help evolve the Call It Spring visual identity while remaining true to brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience backed by a strong portfolio.
- 3 to 4 years of graphic design experience in a creative, marketing, fashion, retail, or brand environment.
- A portfolio that clearly demonstrates layout, typography, branding, digital design, and visual storytelling.
- Experience designing for both digital and print outputs.
- Hands-on exposure to campaign development, content creation, email design, social content, or e-commerce assets.
- Exposure to art direction, concept building, mood boarding, or campaign ideation is an advantage.
- Background in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, retail, or youth-culture brands is preferred.
- Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or similar e-commerce and email platforms is an asset.
- Strong design foundations with a developing creative point of view.
- Excellent sense of layout, typography, composition, image selection, and brand storytelling.
- Curiosity and engagement with culture, social media, and visual trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of Figma, motion, video editing, or AI-based creative tools is considered an asset.
