Role overview
Gourmet Food Parlour is hiring an experienced and energetic kitchen porter for its catering kitchen in Santry, County Dublin. This is a hands-on full-time, permanent position suited to someone who is motivated, dependable, and ready to contribute to a busy kitchen environment.
The role is ideal for a team-oriented person who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene standards, while also supporting the wider kitchen operation and growing with the business.
Key duties
- Clean crockery, utensils, and other kitchen items throughout the day.
- Carry out routine cleaning of kitchen work areas.
- Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment when needed.
- Keep storage spaces organised, safe, and tidy.
- Assist with deliveries and related porter tasks.
- Maintain waste areas in good condition, including packaging disposal and recycling.
- Support porter duties across all areas under the Head Chef’s control.
- Take part in training required to complete tasks safely and correctly.
- Handle other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time.

This is a remote-ineligible role and must be performed on site in Santry. The schedule may include 8-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts, day shifts, and night shifts.
