About Warrikal

Warrikal is a rapidly growing business in Western Australia’s resources and minerals space. Majority Aboriginal-owned and operated, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering maintenance, shutdown, and specialist project services with reliability and efficiency.

The Role

Warrikal is looking for an experienced Forecast Planner to join the Perth team on a 5:2 roster. This opportunity is well suited to someone with a background in workforce or forecasting planning who is ready to move into the mining sector.

Reporting to the Planning Lead, you will manage labour development and oversight within the workforce planning system. You will also act as a key point of coordination between clients, site coordinators, and internal managers to help ensure maintenance activities and shutdown work are properly planned and ready for execution.

Responsibilities

  • Partner daily with clients, site teams, and management to keep planning aligned.
  • Plan labour and asset needs in line with shutdown requirements.
  • Work with senior leaders to confirm and refine resourcing needs.
  • Share workforce forecasts with recruitment and senior management teams.
  • Build and update jobs in the workforce planning platform based on forecasted requirements.
  • Prepare and submit weekly updates and reports for senior management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should bring at least 2 years of experience in a workforce management environment. Experience using a planning or workforce system such as OPMS, IFS, or SAP will be viewed favourably.

The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable taking initiative. You should be adaptable, reliable under pressure, and able to work effectively in a fast-moving environment. Strong administration capability, excellent attention to detail, solid time management, and the ability to build professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders are also important. Advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Why Warrikal

  • Enjoy competitive pay rates.
  • Work with experienced professionals who are committed to supporting your development.
  • Be recognised for your contribution and offered ongoing leadership opportunities.
  • Join a team that values personal growth and collaboration.

Equal Opportunity

Warrikal encourages applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences, including First Nations people and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
