About the Role
Orbital Critical Systems, part of the CAF Group, develops safety-critical software for the aerospace, defence, and transport sectors. The company is hiring Flight Test Engineers to work on-site on Airbus-related projects in Germany.
The role is available at several locations nationwide, including Manching, Taufkirchen, Hamburg, Bremen, Ulm, Donauwörth, Immenstaad, Finkenwerder, and additional sites across the country.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and carrying out avionics ground and flight test activities, including the creation of test programs and procedures.
- Tracking in-aircraft test results, reviewing the data, and documenting outcomes and any deviations.
- Helping improve and develop tools used for test data analysis.
- Working closely with design, development, and testing specialists across Airbus Defence and Space.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on exposure to FPGA development and associated design tools.
- English at B2 level or above; German language skills are an added advantage.
- A strong interest in building expertise in flight test instrumentation and safety-critical environments.
