Role Overview
Ednex Automation Solutions is seeking a seasoned Accounts & Finance Manager in Dubai to oversee finance operations and help drive business expansion across the UAE and wider GCC region. The position is best suited to someone with solid UAE accounting experience and hands-on exposure to banking support, trade finance, project-based costing, and financial control in engineering, automation, robotics, manufacturing, or similar project-driven environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day financial accounting and prepare accurate reports.
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital efficiently.
- Oversee banking facilities, guarantees, and trade finance arrangements.
- Manage VAT compliance and coordinate the audit process.
- Analyze project costs and assess profitability.
- Maintain inventory valuation and calculate landed cost.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA are preferred.
- At least 5 years of finance and accounting experience in the UAE is needed.
- Practical experience with bank guarantees, letters of credit, and banking facilities is important.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT rules is expected.
- Experience using ERP platforms and advanced Excel is required.
