Role Summary

The Field Specialist is responsible for keeping lifts and escalators safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. The role covers scheduled maintenance, identifying faults, resolving issues, and supporting recovery actions when incidents occur.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on lifts and escalators according to the required maintenance plan.
• Identify, document, and report any defects or abnormalities found during maintenance work.
• Respond to customer calls and service requests, including incident response and recovery support.
• Complete maintenance records accurately and on time after each job.
• Ensure all work follows health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in regular toolbox meetings led by the supervisor.
• Be available for 24/7 standby and callback duties on a rotating shift arrangement.
• Support annual inspections and necessary load testing activities.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs, along with other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Environment (Vertical Transportation).
• 1 to 2 years of relevant industry experience is preferred, ideally with a Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Candidates without experience but with a strong interest in the field are also welcome to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-driven and motivated to achieve results.
• Able to work effectively both in a team and independently.
• Mature, responsible, and disciplined attitude.
• Only Singaporeans, Permanent Residents, or Malaysians may apply.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite position based in Singapore.

The role involves rotating shifts and standby/callback responsibilities on a 24/7 basis.
