Role Overview

Grover is hiring a Direct Buyer for its Direct Procurement team in Berlin. In this role, you will help source the devices that populate Grover’s subscription catalogue across Europe. You will work under the Head of Procurement and collaborate closely with the Category Management team. This is a high-growth environment where the procurement function is being built out, giving you real ownership and visible influence from the start. The position offers practical exposure to new and B-stock sourcing, OEM relationship management, and supplier negotiation, while also developing commercial, operational, and analytical capabilities. As the team expands, the role can evolve into more strategic work, including supplier tenders, demand-led purchasing, and support for the company’s growing B2B activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a fast-growing product category and ensure the business can consistently offer the newest and most relevant technology to customers.
• Develop and manage procurement strategies for the categories assigned to you.

What We Are Looking For

• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain; experience in e-commerce or tech is preferred.
• Strong negotiating ability and clear communication skills, with confidence in speaking directly to suppliers.
• Comfort working with data and spreadsheets and an analytical approach to decision-making.
• Familiarity with consumer electronics categories such as mobile, audio, smart home, and TV is advantageous.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle several workstreams at once.
